So what is radiant heat?

Radiant heat is like warmth from the sun. It heats objects within a space, rather than the air around them. Warmth is radiated to other objects, people and structural elements.

How does it work?

Water is the ultimate heat transfer medium. In fact, 20 times more efficient than air. By circulating hot water through tubing the concrete slab is warmed. Tubing is sectioned into zones to allow for options, like individual zone programming.

Hydrofloor offers better heat distribution, keeping your feet warm and your head cool. Heat loss is minimised because:

• heat generated at floor level does not build up and escape through the ceiling;
• air escaping via draughts and normal air movement does not mean escaping heat.
